A Story
Abdialli was sitting on the top of the hill under a tree. In front of him, was big lake with blue water rippling the waves to the shore. The tiny pebbles were rubbling along with the tides. A group of seagulls were sunbathing other side of the hill. A pair of Canadian geese was strolling in the grass.
He stretched his arms straight up and down and lowered his trunk to the ground. Then he rubbed his both palms for sometime and touched his face. At the meantime, he saw two little kids walking towards the lighthouse. They were by themselves. He didn't see any adults in the vicinity.
When the boys reached to the large stone near the light house, they sat on it and started scribbling with pebbles. Abdialli went for jogging near them so that he could see them closely. As he came closer to the boys, they turned their back and remained quiet. Abdialli did not want to break the silence.
It was too early for the kids to come to the shore even if they came with an adults. Nobody was seen on the way walking towards them. Abdialli could not leave the site until somebody come to guardian the children. He returned to the earlier place and carefully looked around. He used to workout for an hour everyday and go back home. He waited for half an hour more for anybody to show up for the children.
When nobody showed up, he called the police and told them about abandoned children and the location. As soon as he hung up the phone, he saw the rising tide in the lake. He was terrified. He never saw such a high tide in the lake. He wanted to save the children before he leave the site, but the tide was moving quickly towards the shore. The police hadn't been arrived yet.
As he reached at the bottom of the hill far enough from the shore, he paused for a while and looked towards the shore where two children were sitting earlier. However, he could not see them due to the wilderness of the trees. Within five minutes the light house was fully covered by the high tides. He thought that the children had be wiped away by the water.
Abdiaalli called the police again. The dispatcher of the emergency department said that there were multiple calls from the lakeshore communities. The most of them were related to the high tide seen in the Lake Ontario . I went up to the summit of the hill. There was a small view tower made up of logs centuries ago. The tide hit the bottom of the hill and ravaged most of the temporary business shelters which were set up for the summer recreation. However, nobody was there on the shore except those two mysterious children.
As the tide receded swiping the lakeshore, I was sure that those children were drowned in the lake or the tide took them off the shore.
When I arrived home, I tried to recall the faces of those children, but I couldn't. I only the back of them. I went to the closer of them and asked if they came with their guardians, but they did not answer. I tried to remember the dress they were wearing. It was some kind of metallic color with tiny wires on it. Their neck was short and covered with golden hair. Both of them were same height and size. They looked like twins.
That day, Abdialli didn't go to the work. He watched the news on the television. Every local television were talking about the unexpected tide seen in the Lake Ontario. There were geologists talking about the possible volcano or earthquake in the lake. Scientists were speculating on the possible cause of the tide seen in the lake.
That night, Abdialli had a dream of the same image at the same location. The two children walking to the light house by the lake Ontario in the Bluffer park. He went closer to them and asked how did they escape of the tide the day before. They responded him in a metallic voice, but he could not understand. Then he waited there for a while to see the faces of the children. Soon they were covered in the smoke. Abdialli was petrified.
After a few minutes the smoke moved in the air towards the centre of the lake. Abdialli quickly went to the place where children were sitting to know if they were still there. They were gone. As the smoke reached to the center of the lake, a shiny object looked like a giant saucer (UFO) formed. As the light flashed, UFO took off. It flew straight upward to the sky and disappeared.
( It is believed that that there is a underwater alien base in the Lake Ontario according to UFO)
