Where is God?

OMG is a fictional Hindi movie made on the issue of the existence of God. Does God really exist? What is the real existence of God? Can priests of the temple, church and mosque really know where the God lives? Can they communicate with god? Millions of people offer holy food, money and jewelry in the name of God. Where all these things go? Wastage? Why beggars, tramps and hungry street children can’t enter the temple? Millions of people offer milk to the god. Does god drink litters of milk? If not, why we are wasting such things in the name of God? Is it not a good idea to distribute to the poor instead of wasting the things? John Milton has written, “God’s state is kingly…He doesn’t’ need man’s day labor”. God has everything. If he created the world, he is also the provider. Then, we are mocking at the god offering some coins or food items.

There are people who are running their business in the name of god. They build a temple, put some statues and spread a fear in the name of god. Due to fear, people go to the temple, offer money, fruits and valuable ornaments. There are several names of God. And those who run this business created the demand of God; so that they can run their business smoothly. These days we can see many demi gods in the market. They appear in the form of Sadhu Baba and give speech collecting poor, sick, and failures. Then they give them a false hope that God will do everything for them. Hope is only thing that inspires us to live. According to the Greek myth God has created a beautiful girl named Pandora out of clay and sent to this earth with a box of evils, disease, hunger, war and death. But there was also hope. When Pandora opened it everything came out of it one by one. She was scared looking these evils. So, she locked it immediately and fortunately Hope remained inside. This is the only his which inspires for survival. But by taking the advantage of this Hope, so called religious mongers are robbing people.

In the film, Kanji Bhai doesn’t believe in God. Once, his home gets destroyed in earthquake. Everybody say that it is the god’s act. He goes to the insurance company in order to claim the loss. But the company refuses to pay saying that it is the god’s act and he had signed on the paper where it is clearly written, “the company will not be responsible to the loss of property due to the act of god.” Then he goes to the temple and ask the compensation from the God’ chosen people, the priests. When they also refuse to settle the problem, he decides to case against the God in the court. But nobody wants to take the case. Finally, according to the constitutional right, he handles his case himself and gets it registered in the high court.

The opposition party asks him to show written proof to defend his case. There he raises the questions about the existence of God and also gives examples to the people there how these people run their illegal business in the name of God. As soon as he comes out, he gets surrounded by the supporters of the priests ‘gang. With the help of security he becomes able to escape from there. On the way there appears an stranger ( Akshay Kumar) and rescues him on his motorbike. He also calls himself Krishna.

Kanji Bhai’s wife and children also leave home. He becomes alone. Next day the same stranger comes home and informs him that he has already bought the house. Then he lives with him and asks him to read the Bhagwat Gita, the Holy Bible and the Koran to get the answer of the riddles of his life. After reading these books, he appears in the court to defend his case. This time he shows the lines from all three holy books where it is written that the goes has created the world and he will destroy it. With his logic, everyone who was there agreed. But he becomes sick all of a sudden and soon hospitalized. The doctors say that they can’t do anything. It’s all upon the god. As soon as the news of his death comes out, these so called priests declare him the god since he has god the sympathy of the people. They also made his temple and statues. The stranger ‘Krishna’ appears in the hospital bed of Kanji Bhai and saves his life. And he also tells him that god exists, but it is not as the people believe. God is in everyone’s heart and we must feel it. He also asks him to fight against wrong believes and superstition in the name of god. Then he goes to the public and begins his fight against of superstition and false believes.

People have doubts on the existence of God. It has created fear in the mind of the people. So, they offer many things to be protected. Roman Catholic Church robbed people in the Dark Age and against of it Protestantism born. Hindu Temples are the great source of corruption today. It needs to be reformed.
